Born on July 3, 1943, in Nashville, Tennessee, Linda was the daughter of William and Ruby Bilbrey, both of whom preceded her in death. She grew up with values that would guide her throughout her life—kindness, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to family. A graduate of Howard High School in Nashville, she carried those principles into every chapter that followed.
Linda dedicated much of her life to her role as a homemaker, a responsibility she embraced with deep love and pride. For her, home was more than a place—it was a feeling she created for those around her. Through her nurturing presence, she built a space filled with warmth, comfort, and belonging, where family members could gather, grow, and feel cared for.
She also found joy in life’s simple, beautiful moments. Gardening was one of her greatest passions, and she took delight in planting flowers and watching them flourish. She leaves behind a loving family who will continue to cherish her memory: her children, Terry Allen Baskin of Hartford, Kentucky; Thomas Christopher (Karri) Baskin of Salisbury, Maryland; and Teresa Lynn Baskin of Suisun, California. Her legacy also lives on through her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her sister Robbie (Joe) Ward, and many extended relatives and dear friends.
